RESUMPTION OF ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
You could recall that the school of Basic Studies had earlier sent out memos before the Government directed that staff on CONTISS 11(or its equivalent) and below should stay at home for a period of five weeks effective wednesday , 23 December, 2020, due to the second phase of the Covid 19 pandemic.
However, in the view of the University Management, anniuncing a new date of resumption, Basic Studies students are by this notice informed to resume for full academic activities on monday 1st February, 2021.
The following Covid-19 pandemic guidelines should be observed strictly.
(a) Mandatory use of facemask.
(b) Ensuring that hands are washed regularly or regular use of hand sanitizer.
(c) Social distancing of 2 metres must be maintained.
(d) Avoid overcrowding.
